Actions speak louder than words... Lou Dobbs says Microsoft has waged war against the American middleclass by taking the company to Canada. But that hasn't stopped the company from starting a development center in Canada, nor has the company cared to answer Lou Dobbs in a press release or anything. What I am saying is, we should not care about what Lou Dobbs thinks or says on his show. As long as we being here helps grow the American economy, nobody cares about what Lou Dobbs thinks!!!
Maybe you and I don't care what Lou Dobbs thinks since we already know what the truth is. How about that average family who are oblivious to our situation ? They just watch network television and dare not question the facts because it is coming from CNN and Lou Dobbs.
To the average American H1-B visas almost mean outsourcing American jobs. The reason for this is the misinformation perpetrated by the mainstream media. We stand to lose a lot if we don't counter it. It is necessary to be LOUD and CLEAR and tell them that they are wrong.
Our silence will just reek of acceptance. All the information dispersed by these self-anointed saviors of the American middle-class, will become the truth and we will become the culprits - the so called outsourcers of American jobs. To some extent we already have acquired that reputation.

Without any changes to the current system, How many of us will be in a similar position in 3 yrs time?
I am only asking this question since we all know how many of us are in the queue with PDs in 2001-2004 range. If 2800 per country EB category get out of this queue then, absent relief, this could easily be us in 3 yrs.

There is no way to clean every thing with in 3 to 4 years, Why because like EB3 china and India had country limit per year.

Why don't we just voluntarily mention the amount that we contributed in our signatures ? Since contributions are voluntary, so should be the option of disclosing information on it. When many contributing members start furnishing their contribtion information voluntarily, it becomes the "fashion" and others will follow suit, as no one wants to look like a free-rider.
As for the veracity of the information, we got to trust each other on that and follow an audit policy- I assume the core members/ administrators have the ability to cross-check the contribution information if someone looks suspicious. Anyone caught furnishing false information can be blacklisted. Such a policy minimises the work of the core team, without being overly intrusive.

I must agree - both are important..it is just each one of us have different cases and circumstances
that It might be important for OP but you should considerate about others you should not say that every body elses problem is nothing in-front of OP's problem ."Injustice" word sound like that.
as somebody said earlier abount OP tha it sounds selfish and mean.
When NSC people were getting Receipt and TSC were waiting , no body said ."Injustice" word .
So when it is not affecting you it 's fair.....But somebody else gets that you cry foul play ....Be considerate about others
Personally I wish all (NSC ,TSC , Carlifornia , Vermont ) filers should get there receipt , EAD and AP as well as Final GC as soon as possible

I received an RFE too in Nov 1st week. It was about the evaluation. (It was submitted earlier but still) Lawyer mailed them the required document and now the status has changed to "We received your response to the request on Nov 14th and the case processing has resumed".
How many days does it take them now to make a decision? (Btw I am EB3 and my 140 submission date was Nov 2006)

labor sub is not neccessarily always bad.
I have seen lot of folks who were stuck in a bad wait and only way could leave was to use labor sub.
Having said that, this case seems just bad situation..
Why couldn't he just check before he filed I140 if someone else has already used that labor?
It's easy to do...
Also why not just use I140 premium when it was allowed back then..
I am thinking someone got greedy and got conned while trying to con immigration system..
you play with fire .. sometimes fingers get burnt.. I feel pity for this guy but I got no love for him..

After the Floor Debate the bill goes to White House or again there has to some measures taken from Senate???? I know there some initiative taken in Senate (last year)..

Does it mean that these developments or should we call no developments on the high skilled immigration front in the developed countries have an underlying message for all of us? Return back to your home countries.... In USA, one positive thing was that it has been 'the melting pot' of people of all cultures and nationality to come together. I will give you an example: my friends 2 year old says that he is an American and not his native origin. In UK, you will still find 3rd generation people telling their nationality to be of their native oigin.
In USA, the immigrants intergrated with the society but in Europe, the message is clear, you are here that is ok, but live in the other side of the city and have limited opportunities. If Sensenbrenner and co have their way, US would be on the same path.

I think it's a way to manage your own expectations - if EBn works out in a reasonable amount of time (varies from person to person), the US is a great place to be, otherwise, your own country is not all that bad. :D
