If you think any fraud is going on or there is a law being misused you must complain to USCIS and Ombudsman. Unless it is reported nobody in a position of power will know about it and nothing will be done to stop it.
Can you please let us know the procedure? I'm very much interested in filing a formal complaint with the CIS and Ombudsman. I'm not against genuine candidates getting their GC through MNC executive category, but would like to stop this malpractice.

I went through the same frustration in 2008 when many 2006 got approved even when my date was current.
Looks like the same thing is going to happen again -- most of the approvals are from 2006 and I am still stuck forever..what the *&%^ing going on....

As pappu stated in the first post of the above referenced thread - some of the ongoing efforts include finding how many IV members would get benefit from such a provision and get basic details such as username/Priority Date of impacted members. Future action items might include drafting documents and letters to support this provision. There maybe actions such as sending emails etc. However we would not be able to open a public action item unless we can have thousands of our members willing to participate in a grassroots action item. This survey intends to understand the needs of our membership for this provision and collect grassroots information.
The fact is we have a dedicated group of volunteers (and we need more) who have been trying their best to spread the message about this initiative so that a strong grass-roots support can be created leading up to launch of the public action items. So far we have around 1100 people who have responded. Based on quick calculations carried out using PERM data, it is estimated that there are at least 60K-70K EB applicants waiting to file I-485/EAD/AP (this is a very conservative estimate..the actual number could be much more). We need to underscore this point over and over again with a sense of urgency. Having to wait ~5-10 years for permanent residence **just because of country of birth**, a discrimination practiced only against Indians and Chinese (well, I know it's country quotas and each country has one, but it only impacts Indians and Chinese) is nothing but a grave human rights abuse.
As the President has said many times over, "the time is now". This needs to be fixed.

Having to wait 10 years for mere permanent resident status in a country in itself is ridiculous, compared to processing times in countries such as Canada, and Australia.
My brother-in-law, who is from S. America became a Canadian citizen 3 years after he was granted residency in Canada. The decision is based on points for education, language skills, job experience, etc.
As the President has said many times over, "the time is now". This needs to be fixed.

I had an infopass appointment today and that was big waste of time and i had to drive 4 hours(2 hrs each way) for this.
They did not offer me any more information than the regular customer service.
She told me that they have received my FP on 7/22 (although I have given mine on 6/19) and it is not unusual that my application is pending. She asked me wait for another 30 days and come back if I dont receive until then.
I asked her if she could send an email or open an SR to the service center, and she said no saying that she will do that only after 30 days have passed beyond 90 day period.
I asked her about the interim EAD and she did not understand what I was talking about. When I provided her about USCIS memo, she said "yeah that is what im saying, we will contact the service center for that 30days after the stipualated 90 days have passed". Basically she did not know what she was talking about.
Im planning to contact the senator next week (this time I want to make sure that 90days have passed before I approach them)
Interestingly she told me that many people are coming to her everyday regarding the same (EAD renewal) and that Service Centers are aware of this (although this does not make any difference to us).
When I asked her if the case was assigned to an "officer", she told me that EADs are not assigned to officers (unlike 485) they are just reviewed and approved.
Hopefully they will approve our eads soon so that I can atleast drive a car.

I will back you up on this:)
Unless one has studied in the US, one will not realize the worth of the US educational system. One clear attribute of US educated professionals is their superior written and verbal communication skills. Not to mention the enhanced ability to culturally fit in a diverse environment.
If this were the case why so many "US educated desis" work for so called "body shoppers" and stay in "Guest houses" provided by these desi consulting companies.

Some of the interviews with USCIS officials on july bulletin feaso, noted saying "not waiting for security clearence" adjudicated the cases working overtime during end of June. I guess all this will play against and they are in deep trouble now.

There is no point in dignifying "plainspeak"'s hatred and abuses with a response since wallowing in the dirt with a rotten pig like him would only cause more harm. He has been sending me abusive and threatening PMs as well which I have been ignoring. Maybe that's his definition of being productive for the community. I did not send im to anyone but since forever_waiting says i did there could be only 3 explanations
1. forever_waiting cannot hold a discussion and is losing a disucssion and is abusing me and lying to everyone else that i sent him abusive messages. This could be because he has to lie to prove himself better than me and show me in bad light.
2. Some one else this forum has sent abusive messages to forever_waiting to use him as a cats paw against me without divulging their own motives to discredit me.
A. Could it be someone else on the forum who does not like my arguments and wants to diss me. But if that would be the case that person would abuse me directly in reply to my posts and IM me directly because if someone is genuinly angry with someone else that person will say it out in the open but will NOT try to do something behind the back
B. Could it be some one who is in a position of authority in IV and cannot argue with me face to face cause that will show their opinion in the open forum to everyone and is using forever_waiting without him knowing about it or is in collusion with forever_waiting and playing this game

I was wondering if any one in the core or other members think about the next step towards getting citizenship after passing the hurdles of getting the green card. If a person is here for 10 years and then get his green card (average period), then he need to wait for another 5 years to get the citizenship. 15 years for this process in a person's life is too much.
IV Core can push or lobby for a law which can make the person a US citizen, if he is living in US for 10 years legally without any issues and paying taxes for the entire period. It is just my idea.

Is there any one who has got EAD renewed in the last 2 months ie in Feb, March 2010?
As some one mentioned the lockbox creating delays , Im frm SFO , CA so according to the new I-765 instructions so I need to mail it to the Phoenix , AZ lockbox, am I correct?
Has any one been successful in getting an interim EAD ,in the recent past (6 months ) by going to their local USCIS office in case they didnt get their EAD's in time ie before the current EAD expires?

On Aug 4th took info pass and asked him to take appropriate action.
On Aug 4th 8:00 Spoke with a 2nd level IO about my application. she said she will email the person working on my case.
Can you please tell me who did you contact the congressman to initiated inquiry?

Steps I followed so far.
On July 29 contacted the congressman and initiated inquiry. I gave him the final documentation on Aug 2nd , 2010
On Aug 2nd emailed NSC with my I485 receipt notice and asked them to approve us as ( email address NCSCFollowup.Nsc@dhs.gov)

I entered US on H4. Then applied for H1 for software job and I still have to go for stamping.
I have completed CPA and I would like to move to an accounting firm ( they have to file my H1 transfer with accounting domain).
Is this change in domain going to cause any problem during H1 transfer or stamping:confused:
