So when everyone buys hybrids and the gas tax revenue dries up we will be forced to pay for how far we drive.http://www.thenewamerican.com/index.php/usnews/congress/6847-cbo-recommends-taxing-drivers-for-miles-traveled
Put a tax on electricity that will cover electric automobiles and general energy usage.

Depends on the hardware and video editing software and resolution of the footage and the codec the source footage uses and the codec you used for exporting the video you used.
Can you tell use those specifics?

I also understand these new "auto mobiles" are going to cut into buggy whip sales. That's just wrong.

Every update I see people come on Apple Discussions claim that the update fried their computer. Nothing can be farther from the truth. Without certain precautions data corruption, directory issues, font issues, incompatible drivers, will make an update look bad on the surface. That's why I wrote this FAQ to prevent most upgrade problems. Please everyone take a look at it before you upgrade and decide for yourself when you are ready and finished with those precautions:

He rich, yet he wears the same thing every day?
He's very into simplicity and minimalism, just look at the way apple products are designed. I think its a conscious choice to wear a simple black turtleneck and jeans, even though he could easily afford any clothes he wanted.

OK, let's take this one small step at a time and see what we've come up with.
Option 1
Mac Hardware - I'm in favour of "Mac Hardware", not just "Hardware". No need to split iPhone/ iPod software apart.

I'm getting a really intrusive Head and Shoulders ad banner at the top of the page. Whenever your mouse pointer hovers above the banner, the banner expands, and a video automatically starts playing. This can happen quite easily when you go to click on another browser tab in Firefox/Safari/Chrome/etc.

I'm sorry Dave, I cannot authorize the purchase of those cookies because the cholesterol content is in direct conflict with the Crestor you have been prescribed - by the way -
did you know that (insert any paid advertiser here) CVS Pharmacy can save you money by switching you to an approved generic?
The fat content also concerns me because the last pair of pants you bought was one inch greater in the waist than your previous purchase.
May i recommend the (insert any paid promotional product here) Cheerios.

From the interview:
"I had a guy come up to me, in my face, saying, 'You think you're so cool? You're not cool' and I'm saying to him, 'Dude, it's a commercial.'"
Anyone else from england think of Michael Winner when they read this bit? :D

I have read that you should find a type of photography that you're good at and stick with it rather than try to be a jack of all trades type. Trying to do sports, weddings and landscape all at once may not be the best idea, for example.
Agreed. I couldn't see myself doing stuff like wedding photography or school photography; some things aren't for you and if you force yourself to do it you'll end up miserable. Rather, I think a more appropriate way is to think of it in terms of comfort zones. I'm mostly doing indoors portraits right now, I've got the gear down and I know roughly how to get what I want in terms of lighting. That's my comfort zone. I could continue doing just that and take good pictures, but I also want to challenge myself. How can I bring lighting outside? How should I deal with harsh sunlight? These are areas outside of my comfort zone, and only by exploring them can I grow.
My own addition to the list: "don't think, just shoot".

The thing is that OS X uses OpenGl, where Windows uses DirectX. I'd agree with you, but I'd prefer running in OS X vs rebooting and my macbook running hotter. Plus while in the b.net menus, I can resize with apple + m, and open safari real quick, yet still be in the game. Plus, even on low, the game still looks pretty cool in my opinion.
Why do u need safari while you're in a game? Looking up a useful hack? ;)

So? Some words like "Podcast" are adopted from popular culture. I still talk about Walkmans, not "Portable Audio Cassette Decks". Imagine how annoying that would be to say every time?
Apple should really reconsider their actions.
Good point there! I think Apple may in fact be more likely to not want anyone else to get control and 'bastardize' the use. I think it would be good for Apple to gain 'ownership' but not to exert the right that this might entail.

Just picked one up in Norwalk CT - they had plenty in stock and the sales person didn't realize the markdown until I mentioned it. Great deal. They tried to sell me a ton of services, but you don't have to... $317 out the door.:)

I love the ads, but the credit goes to the director of the ads. This Justin Long fellow shouldn't be the topic of conversaition. Actuallly the Windows guys is much cooler, he is John Hodgman the author of "The Area's of my Expertise". He also appears on The Daily Show with John Stewart regularly.
I'm not dissing Long, but there are just other people who should be recognized before him.
