I am more curious to know if you can use the EAD in conjunction with the H1B (working 2 jobs 1 on H1B and one on EAD).
This question was explictly asked by AILA to CIS in one of their monthly calls and CIS said they would get back on this. In other words, at that time, their position on this was not even clear to them.
This is why we see conflicting opinions on this topic from different attorneys. Some say the H-1 is gone and some say it is not.
Personally, I think it is possible to use both simultaneously and I think some people are already doing it.

Just file H1B with different company but with same job title and jobe code.
Then ask your attorney to send AC21, it is just a letter with new offer letter.

I guess, other then marriage certificate, wedding photographs, wedding card invitation & property papers on joint name & other investments on joint name might help. I know that wedding photos & wedding invitation card does help to an extent.

I wish they invested in R and D and innovation and products instead of services. Service industry is mainly governed by dealing with cost efficient labor. These companies reach out to IITs IIMs get the best and brightest and dump them into the service sector and start earning on them.
If they changed their business modal and started investing in products and Rand D, it may not give them quick money, but the results will be beneficial on the long run.

I will like to ask your brain if this could be a problem as i did my H1 B Transfer twice before appling for my I 485 and everything went sucessful my GC sponsering Company is not in good terms they might have even revoke my I 140.
Is there any way to find out if my I 140 was revoked.
I applied my I 485 and EAD in July last year my H 1 B was transfered in March Last year i got my EAD's and Finger printing is also done.
But my PD is Dec 2001 so i have already crossed 180 Days and now have the right to use AC21, do i have to file any particular letter for this.

Ok I will file my I1485 only after every immigrant in line gets his/her greencard. Even if it takes 10 years for me I will make that sacrifice. :)

Hospital only drawback is that its close to impossible to have a completely unmedicated birth. Take their free tour, its fun to see a different perspective and hear how they do things.

Mr. President, with so many challenges facing America, is it too much to tackle immigration reform this year?
Reform advocates point to the pledge you made on the campaign trail, to make immigration reform a "top priority in my first year." Yet skeptics argue that the economic crisis makes your campaign promise moot. They believe you should delay immigration legislation and focus on the economy and your other legislative priorities. While addressing immigration may seem to be heaping another issue onto an already-full plate of priorities, there are four compelling reasons for you to move forward with reform this year.
First, the public support for immigration reform is growing stronger notwithstanding the conventional wisdom advanced by the political class. For a big majority of Americans, the failure to address immigration is a symbol of Washington's failure to confront and solve tough problems. Comprehensive immigration reform - the key elements of which require strong enforcement at the borders and in the workplace, coupled with a mechanism for unauthorized immigrants to get legal, learn English and pay taxes - is viewed by the majority of Americans as the most practical approach to addressing this complicated problem.
And in this economic downturn, voters are actually more supportive of immigration reform than at any other time. As pollster Celinda Lake tells it, "voters are very focused on finding solutions to our problems. They support comprehensive immigration reform as a practical, common-sense solution and have no patience for politicians who want to point fingers and score points rather than fix the problem."
The evidence for this point of view is growing. A Washington Post/ABC News poll showed 61% support for giving undocumented immigrants the right to live in the U.S. "if they pay a fine and meet other requirements," a 12% increase since 2007. The Pew Research Center recently found that 63% of respondents supported a pathway to citizenship, up 5% from 2007.
In polling conducted in May by Pete Brodnitz of Benenson Strategies for the organization I direct, 64% of voters support comprehensive immigration reform before it is described, and a whopping 86% support comprehensive reform after it is described. In response to a head-to-head question that pits comprehensive reform against the enforcement-only approach favored by most Republicans and some conservative Democrats, comprehensive wins 67% to 31%. Among those voters who describe themselves as undecided for the 2010 Congressional elections, they not only favor comprehensive reform at the same levels as Democratic voters, by a 69% - 28% they want their elected leaders to tackle immigration reform this year.
The second reason you should move forward is that your commitment to move on immigration reform has created enormous expectations in the Latino community. Your campaign promise was a galvanizing factor in motivating Latinos - especially Latino immigrant voters - to turn out in record numbers in 2008 and swing decisively to the Democratic column. These new voters helped flip at least four states that voted for George W. Bush in 2004 to Obama states in 2008 (Florida, Colorado, New Mexico, and Nevada).
While some like to point out that polls of Hispanics put issues related to the economy as higher on the priority list than immigration reform, the fact is that Immigration reform is a defining issue for Latinos the way civil rights is for many African-American voters, choice is for many female voters, and Israel is for many Jewish voters. For example, in a recent poll of Latino voters conducted by Bendixen and Associates on behalf of America's Voice, 82% called the issue personally important and 87% said they would not consider voting for a Congressional candidate who favors forcing most of those in the U.S. illegally to leave the country. Moreover, expectations are sky-high: three out of four Latino voters expect you to keep your pledge to move on immigration reform in the first year.
The third reason you should move forward is that fixing immigration is a critical component of fixing the economy. This is ridiculous. Looks like, They want to increse the fees to collect money for border security, to build the fence on the border. Pretty sure they wouldnt use this money for speedig up the processing times for applications.

dint had much time to go thro' your responses. but if senior ppl are targetting this fellow( mercies) for this thread, then i beg to differ. because as a member of IV, i have been answering "hadron" posts too at immigration portal.
I think all Mercies is trying to do is help IV out, by preparing answers of such questions which stupid ppl ask, so they can be put to a stop right away. Probably he's drawing your attention to some q's that all of you have answers for, just guide mercies to that post,
but i think all of your remarks have been directed towards merices only as if he's started it all.
i guess we outta stop ppl who are trying to defame this collective effort by giving them one-point answers.

Exactly! I go by a different user name at Immigration Portal, and tried my best to counter hadron's posts. I only created this thread after I saw that no people in the know were countering this guy. I am a foot soldier, not an officer.
The post from rags4u is exactly what we needed. He and another IV guy is engaged in getting things under control, as I wanted.
I wonder if this person who did all this posting without reading what is posted on the site and wasted the valuable time of IV volunteers from an anti immigration group? Please do not get distracteed guys and all those people sitting ont he edge, join in and act!!
As for all of you guys who raise the scare of anti-immigrationists at the drop of the hat - go thru all of my posts, and you will find I cannot be from numbersusa. You can also check with IV's officers and they can get my name/address from my contribution check already deposited in IV's account!
Please try to counter propaganda wherever you can - that's how we will get more people to join! Efforts like mine do not waste time - they serve a purpose!

I have been to DC 4 times this year in 2007 and I or other core group members are not going to give up on amendments. And Aman has been there every 2 weeks. I am not kidding. He has been there either on Mon-Tue or Thu-Fri 2 times each month doing meetings in Senate offices and educating and finding sponsors. We are not going to give up now after all that hard work just because the bill is ridiculous.
Just because I am taunting the injustice of the bill doesnt mean that I or others have given up. WE ARE in position to put in amendments. How much, I dont know. But pretty sure that we will make a good amount of difference.
