Lot of incorrect info on this thread.
Please allow me some points on H-1B here
1. There is no requirement that H-1B has to be full time job. One can have one H-1B for 10 hour job. Please do not confuse H-1B job with GC job. GC job has to be full time and permanent, not H-1B job.
2. One can have more than 1 H-1B active same time, called concurrent H-1B.
3. Concurrent H-1B is cap exempt as person is already on H-1B status.
4. Both H-1B can be for full time hours (i.e. 80 hours per week or more)
5. Both H-1B can be part time jobs and of course, it can be for 1 full time and 1 part time job.
6. Each H-1B is regulated by its corresponding LCA.

Its a massive hit even to some staffing comps here

i suggested this idea to IV few times.. The only way ppl seem to get attention here is when you show unity and boycott.
But quite honestly, the way Indians are, its hard to get them together. We have never been able to unite desis on any issue since independence ;)

Even i'm in the similar situation..
Online status,CRIS email says AP approval notice mailed on Sep2nd,2009 (TSC), but still haven't received it on hand..
We never know this crazy CIS system...May be have to wait till 30days and call the customer service.:(

Here are some possible, quick steps that you can take. Get your own report, this might be useful , http://www.intelius.com/background-verification.html .
Call the county Police Department back from Idaho where they say you have a criminal record from , ask for a Finger Print check on your name or by your Idaho License , if you still have it. [ the reason for this is , if you ever have been charged of any crime, they first finger print you to check your records].
If you do not have any records ,the Police Station will be glad to fax over a letter stating the same. That should seal the deal of you being innocent.
Good Luck .... and don't worry much , these false flags do happen and yes they are a pain in the neck ....

They asked me to stop going to work till it is resolved. consulting firm says all the states and federal agencies cleared me where I last lived, except state of idaho where i worked for 5 months.
Frnds please help! how should I resolve this issue. I have signed a 6 month rental lease, Left my H1B employer depending on this job. More over to all this we are expecting our first child and my wife doesnt have insurence. I was so happy I got this break but now this false check.
Please let me know if any one was in this situation and got out of it successfully.

If you want to track how fast are they processing - you have to go by "Notice Date" because that's the day they first saw your Application. If you want to charge AC21 or calculate iVisa Bulletion's Retrogression do by "Receipt Date" for calculating "180 days Portability" etc....
In the "Pre-July 2nd world" those 2 dates used to vary by 1 or 2 days so no one used to care.
Well - so NSC is doing I-140 for Apr 23rd and Texas is July 21st... I would have got my freedom by now if i had filed I-140 at Texas :) Another good thing in this Bulletin Vermont H1b extension processing have moved a lot - from Apr 23rd to Oct 1st 2007 - wow !!!

same here. i have updated my information but it doesn't show up in stats
My experience: Fill all the fields at least for 1st and lasst blocks. Then you will find your record in tracker. Then do trial and error for making fields blank for some fields what you do not want to appear. Some fields, making blank would make record disappear and some not.

My 140 was transferred from VSC to NSC, I received a new receipt from NSC. The new receipt show it is taking 5 months to 6 months to process this kind of case. My concern is my old receipt date (01/28/2006) is lost? totally unfair!!!
